Found this on the Bautforum, Prof. Richard Pogge of Ohio State has put audio files of his lectures for "Introduction to Stars, Galaxies, & the Universe" at:

http://www.astronomy.ohio-state.edu/~pogge/Ast162/Audio/

they won't all fit on a single CD however, you need an iPod for them all.

Thanks Bill. And for those of us who only live 2 min from work we can listen to them when we are out under the star in our own natural laboratory

Thanks Bill ! I'm stuck on a train for an hour each way to work, so this'll work a treat!

Hey Guys,

Did you notice that if you follow the link on each "Unit" you can get lecture notes as well for each lecture?

Cool!

Fantastic!

The Astronomy 161/162 series were my favourites!

Theres quite a few... I've got ones from Berkley State University, Also got their full Astrophysics course, every lecture of every unit on my mobile phone.. I listen to them all day at work.. Some of it goes over my head but I keep up mostly.. Reference certain material that helps me understand the bits I don't get upon the first listen etc.. .Definitely worth while..

Agree.
This new course should be interesting.
I see that he has a lecture titled "The Copernican Revolution". Astronomy 161 missed half this topic due to tech problems.

Thanks for the heads up.:)

I'm up to the middle of "The Copernican Revolution" from yesterday's drive home and today's drive in! :)

Same old Richard (same old jokes :P ). Enjoying the thrust of this course.

Same old jokes is right, but a good listen anyway.

Ironic: This episode also has tech problems like the first.
