SPX350 F39, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB filters.

Seeing looked steady but my mirror was still cooling down as the evenings are colder now. Some pretty reasonable periods until during Saturn imaging seeing went bad. The Saturn image was made from 2 sets of RGB that were good to get stronger banding. A dark spot above centre on disc of Saturn could be seen in the gif.

Thanks, John.

Nice ones, John. Even at lower elevation and with a warm mirror, you can still do a good Mars. I like that first Saturn a lot.

I knew the seeing was going off and didn't go out last night. After the local early evening turbulence calmed down, there was a very small window of opportunity before an acceleration in the jetstream arrived - the charts said that was coming in the wee hours, but the aerological observations showed it was early.

Wow, it is splendid image John. Great shot. Maybe Saturn is too much blue in my screen but you had very nice détails on Saturn and also on Mars. Congratulations for these images

Very nice images John. It has been very pour seeing wise here and as yet I have not got a Saturn image for this apparition. I hope a clear still night arrives soon.
