I went to see the Banff Mountain Film Festival last night at Katoomba.

If you like speccy scenery, and watching people do what they do very well, its worth a look. Its a good blend of cultural and adventure type movies. Contains a bit of rockclimbing, kayaking, skiing and snowboarding, surfing and survival above the arctic circle over winter, mountain biking, wingsuit flying, and a story on Elizabeth Hawley who documents Himalayan Expeditions.
