NGC 2438. A small Planatary Nebula sitting in front of the M46 Cluster. Taken at Linden with a meade SC8. Using a modded Canon 1100D. 5 x 5 Min subs. EOS CLS-CCD Clip Filter.

You can see how small this Nebula is from this Shot. F10 and no cropping. I was surprised to see a hint of Blue colour with the Full Spectrum Modded DSLR.

Thanks. Glad to be here.

The next ones I am going after is Eagle and Omega Nebula's but the weather has not been so good lately. I tried last weekend but the Moon was to close to the Nebula for a shot. I also want Rosetta but it's getting a bit low now. I will also do the LMC again with the Zoom lense so I can frame it well. My first one was a fixed mount and the framing is poor. The Ball mount will fix that. Still havn't done Tarantula but its around most of the year. Also Dumbbell looks nice when it gets a bit higher in the sky. Basicaly I will try and get all the Nebula's I can see over the next year.
