Hi Charles. Nice capture of the nebula itself but what happened to the rest of the sky? It's either badly vignetted (and needs optical flat images to correct it) or you've made the background too black (or both). The sky is never truly black but is a mottled grey - it's okay to not make the background black! :)
Cheers,

Thanks for your comments. I guess the Nebula was so Bright I justed dulled it down and killed the Background. Maybe I will try and keep some background next time.

Nice capturing Charlse, tho agree with Cam with the sudden change from neb to background, I sometimes punch in google search an astro objects name and find other images for comparing when processing targets, youll always find some really good quality ones taken by very experienced astro-imagers !
That said, you are doing great with focus and guiding etc again !
Keep at it

Thanks for the advice.
This was one of my early images and I was learning the processing. I do keep all my Fits so I could go back and do it again. I probably also played with Gamma and killed the bottom end. I will get better no doubt. Also with such a short exposure and the CLS-CCD filter the dimmer stars would not have come out well.
