SPX350 F39, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB filters.
I managed to get the full globe of Mars to a decent standard of detail, never thought it would be possible. I had to use Colour Balance and Hue/Saturation to match images closer and layers with brush to assemble. Some bits could be sharpened others needed smoothing but layers made it easy and it all seemed to match up.

Awesome work John = good to see you have put your great images on a map like this as it's a great reference for others as well for this apparition.
You should be contributing your photos to ALPO, CMO and other groups analysing and recording Mars images.
John K,
Big effort, I've not seen it mapped/projected like this before, well done.

Thanks everyone.
I used the now essential WinJupos, after selecting the planet you go into Analysis/Map Computation and load in the WinJupos .ims RGB file you got when derotating the RGB assembly and it does it for you.
Now all I have to do is turn it back into a globe and rotate it smoothly - getting a bit too advanced.
I remember this being suggested back in 2011 with the Saturn storm but had such bad 2012-3 seasons, I suppose I should have really.
Regards, John.
