Time to move UP in sensor size, so old faithful, my SBIG ST-8XE is up for sale.
This is the NON-antibloom version, which greatly increases sensitivity, but you need to software remove any bloom "runs" (EASY - can tell you how with several software tools).
Cools down to -20C without any drama. You can water-assist this to drop another 5* if you like too.
Comes with CFW-8 (filter wheel), and will include a full Astronomik CCD filter suite - L, R,G, B, H-a (6nm), SII and OIII. Power supply includednaturally,as well as the manual, disc, nosepieces and the SBIG hardcase. A few other spares in the case too (screws, connectors etc).
VERY regretful sale, but the FSQ106 needs more chip real estate.
Price will be $1100 including postage anywhere as far as Victoria. Any further west or southeast (SA, WA, NT,NZ) will need to ask a little more for postage.
Can post pics if need be, but the unit is in excellent plus condition.
Check Deep Space forum for images I have done with this camera. Also, nearly all the images on my astrobin account have been done with this camera: http://www.astrobin.com/users/LewisM/
