Hi Everyone,
I was also out imaging Mars on the night of the 1st May with the 5" Takahashi, and took the attached LRGB image. There's a lot of cloud structure over Acidalium and Tharsis, but particularly there's a circular cloud right on the limb at the 11 o clock position next to the polar cap. It looks like one of the polar spiral clouds that the Hubble imaged back in 1999.

They apparently only start to form as of L_s 120, which is now. I'm not sure if this has been seen before this apparition but thought I'd post the pic. Not sure where else to post it to report this kind of thing.

Can't comment on the spiral cloud Dave (I have no idea about such things :P ) but lovely result through the 5" :thumbsup::thumbsup:
