SPX350 F39, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB. 0952hrs.
Imaging Mars much earlier now before the cloud waves pass over from the West. Mars looks a bit smaller and seeing was avg to fair and then avg again. Mist altered the brightness of the channels a little giving a brighter red. The weather looks changeable now.
Mars RGB 0952hrs UT
Thanks, John.

That's an amazing Mars image, love the strong colours and contrast and lack of ringing a the limbs, you are fast becoming our own Damian Peach

Hi John,
Impressive image!
How did you clean up the limb so nicely?

Thanks for comments.
I use the Baader RGB filters. I went for the red look some go for the salmon colour, normally I am somewhere inbetween.
Stefan the limb was naturally ringless but I find when there is a phase WJupos leaves brighter red pixels on the limb so I blur the with a small brush at 2 pixels before using an eclipse tool around the planet to take away the fuzzy overlap.
Thanks Mike, I have still not had the best seeing but good none the less so I can't complain this season (not as good as Barbados though). My Olympus Mons was my best so far with a steady image on the screen which is exciting to see.
Regards, John.
