Hi all,
Here is my first image of the partial eclipse! We had some cloud throughout but it still allowed us to observe it at the start and end.

Hi All
Thanks for the comments.
Here is the best shot of it disappearing behind the horizon. Our horizon wasn't flat. I was hoping for a tree :-)
I captured them on my Losmandi StarLapse (oh so badly aligned!!!) with my 72mm ZenithStar scope, Canon 50D, using Tony's 4x Powermate and the Herschel wedge.

Couldn't help myself. It occurred to me that an image of the Moon would be nice in the bite, then it came to me, "like a vision burned across the sky" (who will pick the song reference?)... Matched eclipses!!
Anne-Louise's from tonight, and mine from half a moonth ago.

They're beautiful pics Anne-Louise and Tony. Oooh I especially love the pic you've attached with sun going below the horizon- very cool!
