Nothing too difficult here:)... these widefields and star trails were all captured from a fixed tripod, Oly OM-D EM-1, 17mm f/1.8 lens, 15s @ 6400ASA and one startrail at 3200ASA.
1. The Emu.
2. Scorpius through the Clouds.
3. The Milky Way from Crux through Eta Carinae and beyond.
4. Short star trails - Crux and SCP.
5. Scorpius Rising Star Trails.
6. More Crux Star Trails.

All the star trails were not far from Chateau Sheeny, yes. All were just outside the tent on the uphill side, near the "Private Property" sign.
The second one was overlooking the imaging field - its a bit washed out cause a late arrival decided to stop on the road with headlights ablaze across the observing field and through my FOV while he decided where to go...

Nice results Al! You just need a wider FOV :)
Did you play the white balance in these?

No, I haven't played with white balance yet. I've been using the color balance layer though. It turns out that CS5 can't open the EM-1 raw files (but it would open the EM-5 raws when I had it:rolleyes:) so I'm just playing with the JPG files for now.
I've downloaded the DNGConverter from Adobe. Haven't installed or tried it yet. It'll be a pain if it doesn't allow similar controls to camera raw though.
