I have added 15 Hours of RGB data now, and with the help of Rick, managed to get it to combine with the Ha data (Cheers Rick!)

I think I'm happy with it, took quite a while to process, and I think I might have fluked something towards the end……

Criticism welcome, this is the first time I have thrown in Ha to a colour image.

Thanks for looking.

Overall not bad at all Erik

If you are after feedback though.. I'd say the stars probably dominate a tad and this object can look great when the narrowband data gives Gabrielas profile a more 3D appearance. Not sure exactly how to use your specific data to achieve this though  I do notice what look like phantom stars amongst the nebulosity on the right side of the image, what's going on there..? But as I said, nice job

Erik,

I think you've done well. As Mike said, the stars are very prominent. Perhaps the next thing to play with is MorphologicalTransform.

Cheers,
Rick.

Yes…..I don't know either….there are phantom stars everywhere. hen I go between "Undo" and "Redo" heaps of faint stars appear, and disappear? Like they don't line up, but the nebulosity does??? They aren't present in the Ha data, or the RGB data, but when they are combined they are?

Thanks Rick, I'm going to have another play with it, and post a repro hopefully!

Had another go at processing this one. Combined it without the masks this time:roll eyes:

Happier with this version, a few this could probably be improved, but I'll lead it for now.
