Last night was the best viewing for a few months. I saw ngc5139, ngc5460, ngc5128, ngc5662, ngc5617, ngc4945, ngc3766 and ngc5102. It was an awesome night!

Yes,
Here at Ridge Rd in Melbourne's east a simmilar situation, low wind, no clouds. SQM was a bit on the low side with 20.31 (we have seen 20.55 before at this site) and seeig was not that good, but good enough for 4 hours of DS in Leo, Virgo, Crux, Scorpion.
Saw the Bug Nebule PN in a 4" include dark middle bridge.
4 Galaxies in the eyepiece field all at the same time looks stunning.
We had 4" and 12" out there.

could only get out for about 10min last night with Binos, but sky did look pretty good. After 2 long weekends of jobs around the house listed by SWMBO, I didn't have the energy to set up ..... but looking back I should have made the effort :sadeyes:

This was in from my garden ngc5139 is a naked eye object, albeit you have to use averted vision. I'm in a dark area there is a bit of loom from Melbourne but it's not bad
