Great detail and colours, it feels very "energetic" the way it goes towards white in the core. Awesome image!

I bet if you showed this to the average person they would think this is a hubble shot. Amazing

Thank you for all the kind comments. I have been battling with these data for a while and might have clipped the shadows a tad. I will stop looking at it for a while before trying to reprocess it with additional data.

Thank you. All I can say is gathering those 21 hour data was tedious and already spanned over a month. Having a perm setup definitely helps in gathering data.

Oooh yeah ain't that the truth Hasan ..making it automated helps even further..one day i'll do it

Anyway, fabulous image very worthy of the fabulous equipment set used . Unique colours, you got that bit right but for me and at the risk of sounding like a yr 10 Physics student questioning Einstein :P and if you would like some contructive feedback.. the sharpening has produced unnatural stringy looking featues in the bright areas  - only noticable when viewed at full res though  at unexpanded view the whole scene looks amaaaaazing!

Great job

Mike

Thanks Mike. Feedbacks are always welcome. Helps me look back and improve. Yes those worm/stringy like structures are showing up as a result of Deconv. This is something I been trying recently and still need to master the balance where I don't over do it.

Ahhh the dreaded decon...is it real detail or is PSF manufactured ..the jury is is still out I recon ;)

Again, a great image regardless

In the attached image i am showing a 200% zoomed version of a small section. Original is on the left, middle one is what I think would be a close to good decon & the right one is what I ended up posting :p

I like the picture the way it is.
You can always debate as to whether you've pushed the sharpening too far.
I have found that every pic needs a certain amount of sharpening -
as we're trying to see more than would otherwise be seen -
& it's still real as I would just call it enhanced.

You have to remember that the human brain does quite a bit of processing too.
We actually see upside down & the image is inverted to be correct!
We search for shapes & recognise them - that's how we read.

I've seen many images of this object. I'd qualify this amongst the best ever done.

Just out of interest I thought I would post my image cropped around the same area, albeit from a smaller scope.
