1970 Tasco 11-TE5

This 1970 Tasco 114mm Reflector is in good condition for its age (44 years old).

Tube has some scratches which have some rust (fresh cost of paint will have it looking good) but the optics look good.

Has EQ mount, tube rings, counterweight, wooden tripod, eyepieces, diagonal, moon filter, sun filter (dangerous one), paperwork all in original box.

It's the white tube version (prior to red paint version)

Hoping an old Tasco collector may have an interest in it.

nice things these,does it have a clock drive?

I believe back then that clock drives were an optional extra for $30.
It's only what is pictured so I assume not?!
I have never used it myself.

It seems to be the date etched into the top side of the tube as 130570 (13th May 1970).
Year has been amended in the listing.
The catalogue in the box was dated 1968 so I took that as the D.O.M
