Im after a compression ring adapter to replace the standard twin thumb screw ring on the drawtube. (see pic)
The diagonal and 1.25" EP adapter for this scope came with compression rings, not sure why SW went with marring screws for the drawtube.
The only thing i could find is this but im not sure if it fits refractors.

That's odd. Sounds like something got overlooked in QC?

Scopestuff has a similar adapter: http://scopestuff.com/ss_fas2.htm

I believe one of the Baader Clicklocks will fit it.

I think you will need an adapter with M56 female thread.

Thanks for the responses
That scopestuff adapter looks like it will work but i cant get a shipping quote until i pay for it. Whats the usual shipping cost for a small adapter?
Anyone know if the SCT adapter thread is the similar to M56?
Hmm another option would be waiting and just upgrading the whole focuser later.

Maybe they want you to use a Glatter Parallizer :P In that case you would tighten only one of the screws and leave the other two loose.
Cheers
Steffen.

The Scopestuff 2.2" equates to 56mm as long as the thread pitch is the same.
Better get some vernier calipers and measure your drawtube thread as they can vary a bit I have an Orion one here that measures 57mm.
SCT thread is 2" or 50.8mm with 24 threads per inch so is too small for your focuser.

"We attempt to ship all international orders under $100 by USPS First Class
International Mail, which normally takes about 15 days to arrive, but can take
longer due to customs involvement"
USPS First Class is the cheapest form of mailing from the US. They also say they'll refund your order if the shipping cost is not acceptable to you. I've ordered from Scopestuff a few times and they've been good to deal with.

FYI, I ended up ordering a Baader Clicklock for M56 refractors.
The thumb screws are getting annoying and adds a tad bit of play. Also had no confidence with it holding my heavy EP's/DSLR.

I bought some stuff from them a week ago and they still haven't quoted me. Oddly enough, it was just a Rigel quick finder and some teflon. In the pass they have proved to be reasonable for shipping fee's. $20-30 depending on size. I've bought some large packing items from them in the past. Protostar Flocking paper if I remember. That was a big tube.

 yeah they can certainly grip tight, the trick is tight enough but not so tight that it moves the mount with it :D
