I read that this morning. It's in the Australian press, too.
They say it may be Earth-like, but wouldn't be an Earth twin - it receives only one third of the radiation we get from the Sun. Also, "its mass and composition are not yet known".
Hmmm, now how do we get there?

With the current technology the task seems impossible within a single human lifespan but as long as we have people like those that devised the concept of the Daedalus and Icarus Starship and propulsion ideas like Nuclear Pulse Propulsion I would like to think the dream of Interstellar Travel remains alive.
