... f/50, that is. :) Taken on 16 Apr 2014, 1428UT.

Equipment: LX200-ACF 10", 2x Barlow, 2.5x Powermate, Canon EOS 600d. Seeing was all over the place, and I didn't get many runs due to unexpected cloud that materialised, TARDIS-like, only 90 minutes into my session.

Used 10%-ish of 3000 frames in AS!2 and wavelets in Registax, with a minor touch-up in Gimp. No scaling involved - this is actual size - the image, not the planet!

Thanks. Is that a bit like, "Brave decision, Minister"? :)

It appears to be the best Mars I've done so far. That's not saying much, though. ;)

Great image.

How do you affix your camera, if at all, to the EP?

Thanks. There's no eyepiece - it's prime focus. The train goes like this:

2" focusser barrel > 2x Barlow > 2.5x Powermate > T-thread adapter > T-ring > Camera

That's cool, I didn't know you could mount a camera to a Powaermate. I'm falling in love with lunar imaging, so your method will be very useful, thanks. :)
