Sad news, if it is true, that AC/DC's rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young has suffered a debilitating stroke and can no longer play. The band is an Australian icon. I remember growing up listening to AC/DC (when the bands front man was Bon Scott) since the 70's.

Sad news indeed, IMO ACDC are the best hard rock band on the planet, my biggest regret is letting the opportunity to hear them live pass by.

HRH is off to work tomorrow, might put on the Live at Donington DVD and annoy the neighbours...

Saw them live in Melbourne (pre-pokies) at probably every Beer Barn Hotel of the day and they never failed to please, for those that might have missed it, locate a copy of "If You Want Blood" and play 'Bad Boy Boogie' ridiculously loud.
Greg.
P.S. Early memories of Bon Scott fronting 'The Valentines' :)

Sad news indeed. I think it would be hard for his brother to play with someone else on rhythm guitar after all these decades.

Great band, great live, and agree If you want blood is awesome too.
My first favourite band as a ~10 year old

So sad...
When I was a kid my parents lived in Desford, Leicestershire. I visited them one day and we were out in the garden by the fish pond when we noticed a crazy noise coming from a distant place. I later found out that was AC/DC in Donington, 30 kms away!!!:eyepop:
