I don't have the best eastern horizon, so the moon was well into the final partial phase when I was able to clear the observatory wall. This is a composite image of a few of the frames I took. It goes from near the end of the partial phase, right through to the complete end where the Penumbral shadow leaves the moon, although cannot quite see it :)

I have also included one when it as behind the trees as it was rising.

All taken with my 8" f/4 Newt and Canon 1100D. Various exposures to keep the histogram happy.

Nicely presented Andrew & I quite like the single too, I guess the Histo shape didnt look quite like a chainsaw then ;) :D

Yeah needed a chainsaw, it was the only palm sticking up as well, and in the wrong spot LOL. Happy I can see that low from the Observatory though. Thanks for your comments Bob.
