Again, I have invited one of my friends from the top side of the planet to join us here at IIS. He's one of the few astronomy forum members that I have had the pleasure of meeting in person. Rasp is about as nice as they come, a real honest to goodness good guy...... but his sense of humor is slightly twisted, so I figure he will fit right in here. LOL
Hey Mike.... If I invite many more folks from the USA you might have to change your slogan from "The Australian Amateur Astronomy Community" to "The Australian Amateur Astronomy Community That Tolerates A Few Northerners"
thanx for the welcome and the invite Gary.

Welcome Alan, always a pleasure to have members from other parts of the world. We take great pleasure in gloating about our marvellous southern skies :P
But we get equally jealous of some objects that I have no hope of seeing!
Hope you enjoy it here.
thanx for the welcome Mike.
you are more than welcome to stop by here and have a look at our northern skies though the clouds may be a bit in the way.
