Sky watcher ED100 F9 refractor or GSO RC6?

Hi guys, I want to hear about the good, the bad and the ugly before I buy one of these for DSLR photography. It's just that I don't see many pics on the forum taken with them. It will be for deep sky and some lunar and solar use. General dogs body, jack of all trades scope I guess. I know Lewis had an SW ED100 and sold it rather rapidly, but then he sells everything. :P

Is F9 too slow for deep sky? I know reduces are available to take them down to F7.something.

Hi Kevin.

I use the Saxon ED100 also sometimes with a reducer.
Ive added a few images i've taken with my ED100 and DSLR. The last pic of orion was taken with the ED100 but using a ccd and FR.

I love mine. I also have a 8" f/5 newt but the ED100 is my most used imaging scope.

Okay thanks. Do you use the "wide" T-ring? Apparently this is not compatible with a standard T-ring.

If use the canon yes I have to use the wide t-ring, if I use the ccd I have to use spacers.
