Can't say I've tried much high-res lunar imaging....Not as easy as one might first assume. But figured I'd start leaning.

Stephan's image of the same region :thumbsup: looks like it was taken from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter compared to my humble effort !

Seeing is all important..and wasn't great at the time of capture.

Peter - you should exceptionally happy with that image! Looks great.

Did you take this with an RC scope? and a deep sky CCD camera?

Have often wondered what RC telescopes would do on the planetary side but guess that RC owners are too busy shooting DS objects.
