Almost full moon last night and rare clear skies in Melbourne, so thought it a good time to play with the Orion Steadypix eyepiece/camera holder and my 12 inch scope.
Considering the high mags (150 times thru a 10mm Delos eyepiece) and NO TRACKING, the images came up reasonably sharp. I used ISO200 and 1/3200th of a second. The moon moves fast at these magnifications!
Pity about the low resolution, I don't know why it's so low when I was using a 1080p camera (Panasonic lumix LX7)? Registax spat the images out in very small jpeg sizes.
