Got a very brief chance to capture some avi's using my new 3x Televue barlow which arrived yesterday.

Not much done to these other than a quick pass through Registax.

Much happier with the image scale:thumbsup:

Excellent Matt. Do you plan on getting an extension tube to increase the scale more?

Certainly do, Andrew.

I'm just not very familiar with extension tubes.

Any recommended length?

I'm thinking maybe a 50mm for starters, just to try out?

Cheers

No idea Ving.

In fact, RSjnr appears to be flanked on both sides by darker regions.

Probably just cloud disturbances fore and aft of the little fellas rotation:shrug:

50mm is a good start, then try a 75mm :)

VERY good! Some of your best. THe first and third are great. The image scale is very nice.

Much better than what i've been getting in the last 2 weeks.

Thanks Mike.

Yeah, that 2nd one was a strange one. It was taken through cloud and I had to ditch some of the frames coz they were too dark.

It's funny how the difference in transparency can have an impact on the colour of an image.

You're right about the image scale, but it's like aperture... now I want more. Gimme gimme:lol:

Just have to make sure the seeing's up to ext tubes etc

Thanks for the feedback everyone
