Very nice image Peter but that is 15 minutes more blue sky than I get in a week.
The nights have been worse, couldn't see the Sun at all ;)

awesome job peter. This weather is really pathetic lately. Peter have you ever used a losmandy g11 mount to do any solar imaging?

Yes. I took my G-11 to Wagga Wagga to image the transit of Venus in H-alpha. (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery171.html)
It worked extremely well.
You could even say it was award winning! :)

Hey Peter
Very nice result, especially given the narrow window of opportunity. Love the large prom captured.
