Ok. There is too many 'pretty' gates for me to feel comfortable as a contestant so I am changing my Stock Yard gates for another from the series of pretty ones that are in the John West thread.

Rusty old gate and shed in my home town.
Also, how does everybody go about fitting their pictures into the websites file size? Any pro-tips a part from dropping the image size and quality?

A Grouse green setting from the SE QLD Hinterland which had quite a impact from the road with the whole property frontage fenceline covered with the lush folage . . .
Sorry if this months topic has been lacking entries or interest !

Taken on a recent trip to France, I was taken with this particular setting.

Sometime in the past this gate had a use. But rain, snow and wind have got rid of almost all the fencing and left it as a lonely ruined sentinel 620m up a Scottish mountain, perhaps dreaming of happier times, when it kept something from something else.

Located at the col near this map position (http://www.streetmap.co.uk/idld.srf?x=237045&y=787225&z=120&sv=237045,787225&st=4&mapp=idld.srf&searchp=s.srf&dn=744&ax=237045&ay=787225&lm=0)

I confess I didn't take it for the gates, but there are two gates. The rest of the fence just looks like gates.

This is the memorial at Lostock.

Sussing out places for the lunar eclipse mid-month, I ended up between the twinned Gateway bridges.

Best I could do amid the disorganisation and disarray this month.
