One has to say that the Mercs appear to be in a class of their own. Unless Renault can pull a rabbit out of the hat, I cannot see Red Bull and Co getting anywhere near them this season. Next year apparently Honda are coming into the mix with their engines, and that will leave some room for a possible take up of Merc engines for another team.. I cannot see Red Bull putting up with the down on power Renaults, maybe they may change engine suppliers, now that would be interesting as their chassis appears to be very very good if not superior to the others. Having said all this, it is still very early into the 2014 season and anything can happen and usually does.
I must admit Daniel is giving Sebastian some grief and it is about time I reckon. Hopefully he can get his points back when they meet next week to discuss the Red Bull appeal. Amazing how Vettel always seems to come up with some excuse when things go bad for him, is his head to enlarged to believe that someone else can actually match him with an equal car. Time will tell but at this stage things look very promising for Riciardo in the Red Bull team. :thumbsup:
