Is it possible to get some tube rings for a 127mm MAK?
I have some 130mm which are just a tad too big.

Or I have seen some examples where people put cork on the inside to reduce its diameter.

I had a 127mm Skywather in Losmandy tube rings for a while - snug as! - Retraction - I just checked - I used 160mm rings with the three nylon screws that move in to huge the scope - but it did seem to work very well!

Nice, how much does something like that run for?
Looking at trading my 130mm I have for some 127mm.

Well, it's only a few millimeter that you want to shim, so if it was me I'd go buy a roll of cloth packing tape from K-mart or Big-W, and build up the inside of the rings with it. It will be solid enough to last forever.
Alternatively, look around Bunnings or Clark rubber for a thin rubber mat of the right thickness, and cut it out and glue it in.
The only real issue is whether or not to leave it at that, or buy some felt cloth somewhere and glue it in as the last layer.

Thanks for the advice.
Was thinking of doing that just didn't know what the best material would be.

I suppose other stuff like that thick white polestyrene-like wrapping protection paper they use in parcels might also do the trick, and be gentle on the tube body as you push it up and down the rings. One benefit would be that you don't have to actually stick it on in the first instance to see if it works well.
Cheers,
Renato
