This is a stack of 40 images of 16 min exposures of 3nm NII. I used PixInsight to stack the data and it looks like it does a far better job than what I was using even in the hands of a beginner with PI.
I removed the stars with StarTools 8MB

I have taken to labelling all starless images with 'Fred'. That way there is no confusion.
There seems to be bits of what looks like a SN remnant in the bottom right hand corner.
