Any arduino gurus out there?

I'm looking for someone who might be able to help me out with a little film project. I need to do some stuff with syncing a film projector to a given speed, and I think an Arduino approach or similar might be the go, but I am taking too long to learn my way around.

If anyone might like to lend me some expertise, please drop me a line.

You might get to watch some rare films as a result :)
