(Very) rare opportunity...
My Takahashi TOA150 triplet ortho-apochromat 150mm, f/7.3 (with flattener) complete with Takahashi giant (6x7 Medium Format) field flattener, Takahashi OTA counterweight, Parallax mounting rings, and dual Losmandy mounting plates. The TOA150 OTA has the giant 4" rotating focuser.
To buy new, this package would cost $13995 inc. GST but plus shipping from OPT in the USA - or $13650 from Australia (and a long wait time) plus Parallax rings and Losmandy plates and shipping, making the total, again, above $14k
OTA is in excellent overall condition, with some tiny marks from operating portable at Ilford. The 'scope is, of course, optically perfect.
I am asking $9750, firm. A saving of well over $4k. Buyer to collect, or I can travel up to 100km from my location (Penrith NSW) to meet you to help shorten your journey a little.
The TOA150 is regarded as the best 6" imaging refractor money can buy.
Pictures of actual scope attached.
Please be aware this 'scope needs a decent mount. Scope, rings, and field flatter alone weigh in at 24.3kg (53.5lbs) even before you add a camera, cables, and guidescope. Those that consider a GM8 etc. is suitable, you do so entirely at your own risk.
My AP1200GTO is not for sale.
Thanks - Rob

(Please note: Dewshield is retracted in this shot, which makes it look smaller than it is, but that is an STL11000M on the back, for scale purposes)
