March must be "Tak Month", I'll add another to the list.

Nice very tidy Takahashi FS78. Serial number has "CV" at the start, so I am assuming this is an FS78SV. Manufactured 2003.
In excellent condition, optically and cosmetically, a pleasure to use.
Has standard Tak 1.25"single speed R&P-focuser installed, which gives an OK focus feel, but in my case I have used it with a Feather Touch focuser attached, and this really transforms the scope.
Front and rear caps, and Takahashi extension tube.
AU$1250 plus post and PayPal fees.

I also have the following to attach and would look favourably at a deal which includes the scope and these fittings, or a chunk of them anyway.

"SoCal" tube rings for the FS78. These are huge and solid, awesome. AU$100.

Takahashi 7x50 finder with both caps, plus the finder bracket. AU$250

Home-made adaptor to fit a SolarMax 60 Ha etalon to the front. AU$50

Home-made adaptor to fit a Feather Touch 2" focuser to the rear. AU$50

I'd be keen to talk a complete package deal, with the whole lot, it is how I have used it, and it's how the new owner will likely end up anyway, especially if you grab the SolarMax outfit I have listed in the accessories section!!! This unit, with the SM60/BF15 has been my go-to solar imaging rig for a while, really awesome package, perfect for night viewing or imaging, as well as daylight white light and Ha viewing/imaging.

All prices plus post and PayPal fees. I'd prefer to sell the scope before quitting the accessories.

I'll get some pictures up soon, but most are fully aware of what this is.
All via PM please.

I'd entertain offers, reasonable offers. Via PM of course.

Gary, is the 7x50 illuminated or regular?

Interested... be good on the FSQ106 :)

Hmmmm, not sure Lewis, I'd have to go dig it out of the box, I don't use it, the FS78 is solar only at the moment.
I'd possibly prefer to sell it with the scope though, it fits nice with it, and the next owner will likely want it like that.
I'll come back to you. I thought you'd rather have the FS60 on the FSQ actually.

No, I am using a modified Tak 7x50 as guide scope (PERFECT), but still need a finder :)

Do get back with if it is illum or not - with my LP, I NEED to be able to see a crosshair :)

Uploaded some pictures. A few have asked so it was only a matter of time. One thing I neglected to shoot were the "SoCal" rings, I can do this if it's a deal breaker.

Lewis. The 7x50 is illuminated, but I am going to sell this last, I already have a buyer in the UK thinking about the complete package.

I'd be happy to consider a scope/finder/rings deal, it would make an awesome package for general viewing as well as imaging.
