Yeah.... You should get to a point where you need to decide to either buy a triplet APO or a Mak-Cass if you want color correction and or long FL.

Judging by those pictures if you pointed towards zenith, you would be looking through the eyepiece while on your belly.

Agreed it needs a taller tripod but a pier in a proper obs might be better.

Needs a perimeter fence around it for when it slews to new targets, with warning tape ;)

I reckon Kunama's FC76 might get that long by the time he's done ;) Only a matter of time till he adds the 2x extender section :) (sorry Matt, couldn't resist)
