Hi All,

Some pics from last night. 71P is now in Saggitarius, so is visible most of the night. It was barely visible in the eyepiece, but looked stellar anyway, so it might have been a star!

It's near NGC6808 in these shots.

Great job! I had no idea there was a comet overhead atm!

What telescope/camera did you use? Exposures/length etc?

It's a good apparition of 71P/Clark this year.

My first sighting of Clark (discovered in 1973 in New Zealand) was 11 years ago, the same night I first sighted Hale-Bopp (only a couple of days after Hale-Bopp had been discovered).

Great shot Stuart.

This comet had me beat. I tried several times a couple of months ago to photograph this one, but I could never see it in the final images. Nice to see a picture of it finally.
