Hey guys. Since my last post like this I've been doing some research and am about to order a skywatcher black diamond ED100 and HEQ5 mount from Bintel.
This sound ok to everyone?

Hi Hobbit, that is currently what I'm using at the moment, seems to work well.

Silly question, but is this for imaging or visual use?

Sounds like a nice set-up to me! I think you'll be happy with it visually and if you decide to do some imaging, its a good start.

95% imaging with the occasional wistful look at the heavens through the eyepiece.

Sounds good. For imaging you may need an extension tube? Ask Bintel if one is needed with this scope along with your camera combination.

Nice one

I started with this same setup and had loads of fun. If you can get the SW reducer/flattener for it it will give you a very flat image with a DSLR and also speed it up a bit to F7.8 from F9.

I got this from Bintel but cant find it on their site. There may be other products as well

+1 for the Skywatcher flattener, make sure you get the one specifically for that OTA as there are differences. The SW Flattener screws on to the stock focusser and will cover a full frame sensor. There's also a corresponding wider than normal T ring needed for Full Frame. Bintel should be able to supply both.
