Due to upgrading to a SBIG ST4K I'm selling this on.
The UVIR filter has been removed resulting in increased sensitivity in the red spectrum.
Makes a fantastic nebula camera.

Canon EOS 400D Camera
3 x Batteries (One original and 2 x generic)
1 x Battery Charger
1 x USB-PC transfer cable
1 x Strap
1 x VGA cable
Manuals

(As pictured)

Price: Asking $320 including express post

Hi Ryan, does the autofocus still work with this modification?

Hey Dan,
I do not believe so, you would probably need to add an aftermarket filter to retain AF.
I do not have Canon lenses so I never had an opportunity to test it.

Taking offers via PM
Better to see this go to someone who will use it rather than it sitting in it's box in the cupboard.

Price drop as this needs to move.
$280 posted to your door.

This is a cheap way of getting a very sensitive astro cam.
Snap it up while you can...

Hi Ryan,

Is this a full modification? Does it have a UV/IR filter installed?

thanks
Josh

Josh,

No additional filter/glass was put in place.
You could use a clip in filter to rectify this issue.
Focus is purely done manually with this camera which has never been an issue with me.
