Polar scope

Bought this polarscope recently (as never been used) from iceinspace, but it doesn't fit my (very old) mount. So back on sale.

Polar alignment scope, includes both southern and northern hemisphere alignment. lt has alignment reticle for Sigma Octans. lt has a twist adjustable helical focuser, includes two dust caps for both ends as well as box. (Please note, this is not an illuminated reticle version) Fits most German Equatorial mounts with a thread in through the polar axis. Never been used, in excellent condition.

does it fit EQ3-2 mount if u know? skywatcher

Sorry, I can tell you, I never had an EQ mount until recently, I bought a 12 year old mount 2nd hand, it doesn't have a brand name.

You could measure the diameter(s) you need and I could tell what the scope has.

Maybe somebody else from IIS can assist?

just checked it is approx 2 cm

The thinnest (and longest) part of the polar scope is exactly 2.2cm

You might want to check if the border of your hole has solid metal borders or if there is a kind of soft rubber.

I've checked the thing (black) near DEC/Clock setting circle thing it is 2cm
but inside that black thing has a rubber thing...

The "entrance" is 2 cm plastic ...
