I don’t know how things are with you…
Here my story:
My long term observing buddy is moving away and without observing buddy and the prospect of observing alone the drive to get out of the domestic garden (SQM 19) to a better observing site (SQM 20.6) in 30 minutes distance is often just not strong enough to pack the car and drive out there.
So if there is somebody out there in a similar situation and living around Glen Waverley in the east of Melbourne, contact me and we might decide to have a chat.
I do visual astronomy since the 90th with some interruptions. Have observed >30% of the Babo 600 and use 4” and sometimes a 12” scope. Observe from the garden (too often) and know a SQM 20.6 spot just 30 minutes away. I observe as often as possible around new moon not limited to any particular week day.
