Here's a quick run through Registax, best 120 frames of 600 (5fps for 120 seconds).

9.25, with ToUcam and 2.5x Powermate.

GRS... Io ... Europa and it's shadow transit.

Nice one!

I got 6 AV's in 2/10 & then deleted them.

Matt this is beautiful! What a great shot and don't the moons and shadow give a great 3D feel!

Was this last night? - typical I was working late, haven't seen GRS for over a month, let alone a shadow transit (always handy for focussing accuracy;) )

cheers,

Well done Matt, that will come out a treat once you've done the full treatment.

I'd be happy to have a go at it for you if you'd like. Nothing else to do when we've had a week of bad weather and predictions for another week to come.

Great shot, well done.

Oh I was hoping you'd upload the avi :P

I can have a go on your jpeg I suppose :)

Here it is, not really a lot to do. A very good image already. It has that familiar 925 "look" about it.

All you need now is more image scale and better seeing. Nice work.

Oh i'm at home on the laptop today too, so not really sure how it will look on a bigger/different screen. It may be too dark

Sorry Mike.

I'm in the middle of processing it myself, following the Salway Planetary Imaging and Image Processing "How To" you kindly provided:)

Nice job on the jpeg.

I'll post my efforts shortly.

And then I'll look at uploading the avi.

Thanks mate:thumbsup:

Here's a side-by-side with the full treatment as compared to my original posted image.

I think there's an obvious improvement although I could be forcing myself to see it after going through the whole process:lol:

It's a bit grainier... but that's because of the unsharp mask.

Now, where's that 3x barlow, Australia Post???

this is great, i got two avis shot off before the cloud spoilt the view. I had north easterly weather, so the sea had a decent effect on seeing.

I really do like this one!
