Free web site hosting

Can anyone reccomend a good free website host as I want to create a site on the cheap :D

"good" and "free" don't usually go together when it comes to website hosting.

There's some good ones around for cheap prices, eg: $99/year if you're just hosting a reasonably small site.

I can vouch for www.unlimited-space.com who I have used in the past for gaming clan sites etc.

Another non-free but very cheap one is www.madserve.com (http://www.madserve.com), they have a $50USD ($66.50AUD) hosting plan that is very good and it includes domain name registration.

I have three sites hosted with them and manage one other that is hosted there, in the three years I have been with them there has been no major problems at all.
