Hello,
This image has been done at four hands. My brother'n heavens J.A.Mattei did the capture from his place located in the highly light-polluted São Paulo City and I did the image processing.

IC 443 is a SNR (galatic supernova remnant) in constellation of Gemini.
This capture is made up by the following subs:

Ha: 6x30minutes bin1x1
S2: 5x30minutes bin1x1
O3: 5x30minutes bin1x1

The image with some more resolution can be seen in the link below:

Thanks for looking

Hi Luiz,
It is really amazing how this image came through. I can say that this is an outstanding capture and above all an act of faith:rofl:. Mattei did an outstanding job here.

Hi Bob,
Thank you !! I think you can get a very good image with an OSC since you have a dark sky and use long subs. My suggestion is that you use your WO 66mm to get a larger fov and use at least subs of 20 minutes, 30 minutes optimum. I think this object is so cool that's worth a try.

Best Regards,

Fernando

Hey Thanx Fernando,
I'll hopefully have a Hyperstar lens for the C8 soon, 400mm @ F2.1 , Hope I get it sourted and running before too long as I see that this IC443 is sitting at 40deg max alt on twilight and dropping to 30deg in approx 2hrs from where I am, Brisbane'ish QLD. Wont be easy chasing it the following months new moon ?
That said, Im not sure about adapters yet & also, low and behold, the weather (touch wood) is not looking real favourable this new moon here either

So a few things against me at the moment, but there is always next year, and will put this target down for 3rd week December 2014 object I reackon ! Appreciate your feedback Fernando
