Thought I may share these two Mars images from yesterday morning.

Started shooting around 4:30am through the gaps in low level clouds which finally cleared one hour later, coincidentally seeing seamed to peak around the same time.

Left exposure is a drizzle stack of 6500 frames, the right one combines 2300 frames. I was trying to optimise the focus while imaging which had an impact on sharpness of the latter pic.

Plenty of wispy cloud features can be seen north of Aurorae Sinus and to the east of Tharsis. Also there is a dark feature across the NPC.

Increase in planet's size and brightness is very noticeable now, looking forward to 15" disk!

Good work Sebastian, roll on April, we certainly have much to look forward to with both Mars & Saturn.

Thats very good detail showing on a clean disc, I wish I could get out but cloud seems stuck around Brisbane.

John.

Thanks Trevor and John, the weather's been really patchy over here too.

This morning seeing was pretty ordinary as I was giving my new ASI cam a go.. yet to process the results.

Cheers,
Seb
