Bit of a mystery

I took a 10sec sub of 3132; no sign of the centre star; tried 15 secs,
absolutely no sign, even with increasing mag. 20 secs, it's like a
searchlight; how can that be? All at ISO 6400 through an 8" scope.
I bought my first scope 59 yrs ago, and I've never seen anything like it.

Post the 3 pics Ray, without processing if you can. The brighter of the embedded stars is magnitude 10. Perhaps you need 20 secs to cross that threshold.
