great image peter. Im considering getting a solar scope. The seeing conditions are good in the daytime and get worse at night time in our area. Its very frustrating for planetary imaging. How much harder is it to image with a solar scope compared to planet imaging with a c14 scope?

Thanks for the feedback guys :)

Will for starters, I've never had mosaic my planetary images :)

Also I'd be amazed if your daytime seeing is better than that at night..as during the latter thermals rarely, if ever occur...and are a constant problem for solar imagery...I usually give it away by 9.00am.

I'd stick with it. C14's can produce some excellent planetary imagery.. check out some of Damian Peach's work.

Hey Peter
Wonderful FD! The proms standout nicely even though there was not much to be had. Good to see the weather co-operated as it been rather unstable recently.
