Tried some more advanced photoshop and Nebulosity edits for this image, finally using some decent flats too. Applied a mask to some of the nebulosity and boosted some colour and contrast selectively (that's quite fun). Played with the white balance too, quite dramatic changes when I selected part of the cloud centre.
First image is without Nebulosity tweaks for noise reduction and smoothing, the second is with. Still pretty faint, only 5 by 15 secs with my 200m lens at f3.5, much past this and the LP gets too invasive. I was really pleased with the result though, as to the naked eye, the sky was fairly plain. The sky is full of secrets to discover.
