Finally a new image, after many months!
The Omega Centauri globular cluster with galactic dust and several background galaxies (inspired by Mike's image):

Core detail:

This is the first light with my new EM-200 2M mount.
The picture is far from perfect, this is a work in progress.

Exposure: 300 seconds frames, L(6) R(4) G(3) B(5), 90 minutes total.
FSQ106ED and 383L+ at -15C.
Date: Jan 30, 2014.

The sky was a bit hazy and the last L exposure was taken just before dawn.
Many thanks to C. Jacques, M. Moura, J. R. Barros and E. Pimentel from SONEAR Observatory, Brazil.

Thanks for watching!

Cheers,

That's an excellent Omega Centauri, in reality I think an accurate image of this massive cluster shouldn't really show resolution to the core but like you have here the core should be blindingly bright without looking saturated..nice job Luiz and the bit of Galactic Cirrus there is a bonus

Thanks for looking Mark, I appreciated your comment.

Thanks Mike for the kind remarks. It took me some time to calibrate the brightness, I hope it is not too far from the mark. Omega Centauri is a great gig in the sky!

Cheers,
Luiz
