well that session was cut short by cloud and I managed to get 5 short shots off, here is one of them taken with 127ED and a Baader solar wedge with DMK41 and vixen 2.4 barlow lens
Stunning clarity. That Baader wedge is amazing.

The monochrome image is about the best image you have ever produced I think. Smooth natural looking and with sharp detail. Well done.

thanks - the seeing wasnt too bad compared to what we have had most of the time - i think that helped immensly

thank you Paul, i do agree - it takes a lot of practice and time to get a process right - it stems from the original capture to not wanting to kill it to death with over sharpeing;) like i used to do (and still do sometimes). some of the images i have seen coming out of europe and the US helped me lift my game:)
