Hi there,

After lurking around on the forum for a while I decided that it was time to "break the ice" (pun intended) and start contributing.

I purchased my first OTA (Skywatcher Black Diamond ED120) about 6 months ago after making regular use of a friends' 8" SCT and have mated it with a Skywatcher AZ-EQ6 GT mount.

What a wonderful community you have here. As a relative newcomer to astronomy I look forward to sharing what I have learned so far in future posts, along with some of the few images I have managed to capture so far.
