This was my first DSLR, so I am reluctantly putting it for sale as it is just not getting used much.
What you are getting:
1. Nikon D70s body: excellent condition, very minor wear and tear as it was always in a camera bag.
2. Nikkor 18-70mm kit lens (DX) with lens hood, very lightly used (no brassing on the mount) as I used primes most of the time. A Hoya Skylight filter is fitted from day 1.
3. Full accessories (US style charger), manuals, cables and even the original box. Missing Nikon capture CD, but you can download it free from the net.
4. Extras: rear LCD protector, extra Nikon battery, card reader, shutter cable.
Price:
Camera body with accessories: $200 now $150
Lens with hood and filter: $150
The whole kit: $350 with free Lowepro camera bag Now $300, No bag.
Postage extra.
Very low shutter count. Ideal as a student camera.
PM me with queries.
Thanks
Bo

Just checked my shutter count, less than 5,000, so mint(ish) condition.
Someone grabbed the Lowepro bag, so it is not available anymore.
So now the price is $300 (negotiable) for the kit or $150 each for the body and lens separately.
Cheers,
Bo

Does the charger work with the same batteries as the D90?

Hi Peter,
The charger is MH-18a, which can charge EN-EL3 series batteries
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/381573-REG/Nikon_25327_MH_18a_Quick_Charger.ht ml
The D90 uses EN-EL3e, so it should work. I believe later D70s models came with EN-EL3e batteries (earlier models had the older EL-EN3 and EL-EN3a batteries). Nikon issued the same charger for all their D70s cameras, so I am pretty sure the MH-18a charger would charge EN-EL3e batteries (ie. D90).
Cheers,
Bo

Hi Peter,
Tried to PM you but your inbox in full.
Just wondering if you still have any interest in my D70s.
I am happy to post it to you for free. (and to all other potential buyers)
Cheers,
Bo

*edit*
Sorry, didn't realise it took CF cards, I'll have to look for a D80 instead :(

I have a couple of 1 GB CF cards which I can throw in. They won't weigh much
